Micosoft DOS Hostname Command

To display the Hostname of the computer,the command is used.

The hostname command is available in below Microsoft Operating Systems.

Windows 2000
Windows XP
Windows Vista
Windows 7
Windows 8

Hostname syntax: hostname

hostname example:

Run command prompt and type hostname and then Enter.
